About Trip:

Cho Oyu is the sixth highest mountain in the world located a short distance in the west from Everest and Lhotse in the Khumbu region of Eastern Nepal along the Tibetan border. Its towering peak stands with Everest well above the surrounding mountains. it became a familiar landmark to climbers ascending Everest's north face. West from Cho Oyu is Nangpa La, The main trading route between Solukhumbu and Tibet.

Outline Itinerary

DAY 01 Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel

DAY 02 Drive to Gundu (2,005m) one hour drive from Kathmandu for acclimatization. Accommodation in adventure Camp's luxury tents.

DAY 03 Morning sunrise view of the mountains. During the day you can visit Phulchoki, the highest point overlooking Kathmandu Valley. Overnight at Camp.

DAY 04 Fly to Lukla (2,800m) & trek to Phkding (2,640m)Overnight in Himalayan Chain Resort (HCR)

DAY 05 Trek to Nmache Bazaar (3,446m). Overnight in lodge.

DAY 06 Trek to Khumjung (3,790m). Overnight in HCR

DAY 07 Rest day for acclimatization, Change porters & yaks.

DAY 08 Trek to Dole (4,200m). overnight in tent.

DAY 09 Trek to Macchermo (4,410m)Overnight in tent

DAY 10 Trek to Gokyo Lake (4,750m). Overnight in tent.

DAY 11 Rest day at Gokyo for acclimatization.

DAY 12 Trek to Ngozumba Tso.

DAY 13 Trek to Cho-Oyu Base Camp.

DAY 14-43 CLIMBING PERIOD.

DAY 44  Cleaning up Base Camp.

Day 45 Trek back to Gokyo Lake. Overnight in tent.

DAY 46 Trek back to Khumjung. Overnight in HCR.

DAY 47Trek back to Phakding. Overnight at HCR

DAY 48 Trek back to Lukla. Overnight in Lodge.

DAY 49 Fly back to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.

DAY 50 Free day in Kathmandu.

DAY 51 Departure from Kathmandu.
