About Trip:

Nirekha Peak Climbing is another important mountain adventure located in the Everest Region of Nepal. This trek also includes all the important attributes of the Khumbu District of the Everest Region. This peak climbing takes you to the Base Camp of Nirekha Peak after crossing the Cho La Pass at 5368 m. It has not been long since Nirekha Peak (6,159 m) was opened for climbing. Therefore, it is less crowded and provides a truly unique mountain climbing experience for the climbers.  

From the summit of Nirekha Peak, the magnificent views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Tawache, Cholatse, Pumori, Changri and the other Himalayas can be marvelled at. This climbing package also takes us to the Gokyo Ri alongside the Ngozumpa Glacier, which is the longest glacier in Nepal and we can even visit the beautiful Gokyo Lakes which are the world’s highest freshwater lakes. We also reach the Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar which are two of the most popular sites in the Everest region. Kalapatthar is considered as the best vantage point for the close views of Everest and the nearby Himalayas.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu 

Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m) 35min trek to Phakding (2652m).

Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m).

Day 04: Rest day in Namche Bazaar.

Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Dole (4040m).

Day 06: Dole to Machhermo (4410m) .

Day 07: Machhermo to Gokyo (4,750m).

Day 08: Gokyo to Thangna (4700m).

Day 09: Thangna to Nirekha Base Camp (4950m).

Day 10:  Set up  Base Camp and climbing preparation.

Day 11: Nirekha Base Camp to High Camp. 

Day 12: High camp to Nirekha Peak summit 6159m. & return to BC.

Day 13: Reserve day, Backpack and clean Base Camp.

Day 14: Nirekha Peak Base Camp to Dole.

Day 15: Dole to Namche Bazar.

Day 16: Namche Bazaar to Lukla.

Day 17: Lukla to Kathmandu (Kathmndu sight seens).

Day 18: Departure.
